Linx is an OEM brand that was launched in September 2003, specifically developed to meet the needs of the South African custom install market and consumers wanting good quality in-ceiling loudspeakers, cabling and accessories at an affordable price point.

The Linx range is small yet focused and offer excellent value for money and have gained the appreciation and respect from South Africa's top custom installers for the last 21 years.

OUR POPULAR 6.5' AND 8' IN-CEILING SPEAKERS HAVE BEEN UPGRADED WITH A NEW HIGH PERFORMANCE TWEETER

The Linx L6V2 and L8V2 In-ceiling speakers are well priced, have great build quality and offer a superior sonic feature set when compared to similarly priced in-ceiling loudspeakers.

The new high performance tweeter introduced to the L6 and L8 in April 2024, have made a significant difference to the overall dynamics of both models.
The sound stage has opened up tremendously and the increased level of clarity in midrange and high frequency region is phenomenal for an in-ceiling speaker at these price points.

Both Linx In-ceiling models have a solid 12db cross-over and a +- 3dB tweeter attenuation to create flexibility to adjust the high frequency response according to the envronment and also to suit personal musical taste.

Available in both 6.5' and 8' sizes, you can tailor your listening experience according to room size and performance requirements.
The Linx L6V2 is a good all-rounder, especially for multiroom applications and the L8V2 is a popular seller for those wanting that extra power handling and bass response that an 8” in-ceiling offers.

Wooden slab boxes are available to fit both models of Linx in-ceiling speakers so be sure to plan for this before your concrete slab is cast !

Loudspeaker Cable & Accessories

Linx loudspeaker cable is an excellent option for connection our Linx In-ceiling speakers or any other brand whether in a multi-room or home theatre environment.

All variants of Linx loudspeaker cable are Oxygen-Free Copper cable that offer excellent signal flow even over long distances. The cables are flexible and easy to pull though conduits.

2-CORE OFC CABLE

Linx 2-core loudspeaker cable is available in 3 sizes : 0.75mm ; 1.5mm and 2.5mm

The Linx 0.75mm cable is available in a 200m roll, the Linx 1.5mm cable is available in a 25m, 50m and 200m roll, the Linx 2.5mm cable is availalable in 100m rolls only.

Linx 2-core cable can also be purchased per metre from selected retail outlets.

The 2.5mm is very popular for connecting front stereo loudspeakers at a sub R50 p/m price point. The Linx 2.5mm loudspeaker cable offers fantastic transparency, dynamic music and pin point sound staging for a cable that is this affordable.
